Dairy Queen - Oelwein

This DQ is spectacular. The staff was great, service was fast, and the dining area was very clean.

Quick service and they allow substitutions with their combo meals. The staff is really friendly. Ice cream must make people happy. I can't say I have ever had a bad experience here. Physical plant is aging, and the menu is of course stock, but that's why you go there.

I was surprised how affordable it was. there were no quality issues. sometimes I am just too tired to cook. Also their Twin Cronie item from the original menu is still served here decades after being discontinued at every other DQ in the world. People come from other states for it so occassionly there is a 5 to 10 minute wait

I love the Dairy Queen in Oelwein, but I wish they could lighten up on the chili powder in their chili burger. Sometimes it feels a bit overwhelming.

It was just 10 minutes before closing, and the drive-thru line was long, with the parking lot completely full. The employees were friendly and stayed until everyone was taken care of. Great job, Dairy Queen, especially on such a hot day! Who's with me?
