Best fried chicken I've had in a long time! and delivered out to Love's for any other drivers that are interested. Well done folks. Peace

After our hike at Starved Rock, we decided to visit this restaurant and it turned out to be a wonderful discovery. The exterior may seem a bit misleading, giving off a bar vibe. We inquired whether kids were allowed to dine there, and the answer was yes. In fact, they have a lovely dining area situated in the back. There were only a few patrons at the bar, which didn't pose any problems at all. We thoroughly enjoyed our meals—they were fresh and quite hearty. The service was excellent as well! I highly recommend this place.

The food wasn't fully cooked, and it took about an hour for our meals to arrive. The atmosphere of the place felt a bit off. Additionally, the bartender was playing the slot machines while we were there, which was quite amusing!

Despite being a restaurant we enjoy, we had an incredibly disappointing experience due to the service. A staff member lost his keys, and we felt interrogated about it; three different people approached us regarding the keys, which made us feel as though we were lying. Sarah, the manager, was particularly unhelpful. After the third inquiry, she interrupted our evening to insist we move so she could search for the keys. It will be a long time before we decide to dine there again.

The food is fantastic! I can't wait for COVID to be over so we can dine there again!
