Caffe Prego - Ogunquit

We went the weekend prior to closing up for the season so they didn't have everything on their menu. Nonetheless we had a great experience! We started with the salad and it was SO good! Salad ingredients were so fresh and tasty. We then got a pizza and each slice had a different topping. LOVED the mushroom one. Pizza was very good. We also ordered a pasta with shrimp which was also good. Would definitely go back!

Located in the heart of Ogunquit, this vibrant orange restaurant offers delicious food at reasonable prices. On our visit, the sunny weather made the orange awning and menu a bit difficult to read. If you enjoy thin crust pizza, you’ll appreciate their crust, which was quite tasty. The basil truly elevated the pizza, and the sauce-to-cheese ratio was just right, leaving me fully satisfied. However, I was disappointed with the pasta salad portion—it was the smallest I've ever seen, with only five pieces of pasta, along with a few peas and olives.

I visit this restaurant every time I'm in Ogunquit, and I absolutely love it! The sangrias are fantastic, and the menu offers a wonderful variety of options.

We visited Caffe Prego on a Saturday night and opted to sit at the bar, which was not too crowded. However, after waiting for a considerable amount of time, we were not greeted or acknowledged by any of the staff. We didn't receive menus or even a glass of water. The bartender with the ponytail continued to serve other customers while overlooking us. After being ignored for too long, we decided to leave and not support the business. While we understand that employees can get busy, a simple acknowledgment that someone would be with us shortly would have made a big difference. Good customer service is essential, and unfortunately, Caffe Prego fell short of that expectation this evening.

Great pizza at a fair price. Good drinks and good service. Nice outdoor patio even if it was raining.
