Best coffee this side of the city. The guys there are fantastic and the coffee is perfection every time! Great Italian sweet treats and quick bites too.
I come to Caparezza often as its one of my favourite stops for coffee.<br/ <br/ Whether you’re at their cafe or their coffee carts they bring around Rundle mall, everything is always high quality.<br/ <br/ All their food and pastries taste to be authentic Italian. It’s tough to find better zeppoles <br/ Staff are awesome and always so much fun to talk too. <br/ <br/ All in all, top-notch.
Probably the most authentic Italian place I have been to in Australia. Stepping into Caparezza, it was like I was transported to one of the many tiny, bar-style cafes I had visited in Italy, where people would stand at the counter and enjoy their morning caffe with a cornetto, perhaps chatting with the barista. This is exactly the scene at Caparezza. The cafe is usually buzzing in the morning when I drop by at about 8am, with workers grabbing their caffeine fix on the way to work.<br/ <br/ The baristas at Caparezza probably pump out one of the best brews in the city. The coffee is flavourful and very aromatic; you can tell they use quality beans. <br/ <br/ This morning I took away food from here for the first time. Feeling like a light breakfast, my choice was a mix of Cacao Kapow and Crunchy Maple Muesli from Goodies Grains. I was told it would be served wit yoghurt and fruit. I was pretty disappointed to be presented with a small container barely filled halfway, topped with a small dollop of yoghurt that was clearly not enough for the amount of muesli, 4 tiny slices of apple, and a drizzle of honey. I had to add quite a lot of milk to be able to mix everything together.<br/ <br/ Taste wise it was fine, but that's not saying much because they simply stock the muesli from Goodies Grains. For $8.50 it was definitely not worth the money. I'm not completely put off buying food from here though, because their display cabinet is usually filled with yummy looking sandwiches and fritattas. Perhaps I'll try one of those next time.
Beautiful espresso. Strong rich aloma and perfect coffee.
