See Ya Later Ranch is off the beaten path, but their wine is excellent Tastings are almost free $(2) and they donate to animal shelters.
I think Canada's definition of dog friendly is quite different from my definition living in Seattle - which is fine, different rules and regulations.
What a nice family run operation. As soon as you arrive you are made to feel welcome. You can bring your furry friend into the wine tasting area and on the great walking paths. We had lunch on the patio. Awesome lake view. Limited menu but there is something for everyone. And the food is fresh and made with local ingredients. It is genuinely good home made food. Their wine is awesome too. What I like about this place is they don't charge you exorbitant prices. You can afford to come here many times. I highly recommend this place.
This amazing winery/ranch is a perfect place to attend for a lunch out on the patio, with a glass of their Gewurztraminer, which is from their own vineyards VQA and very refreshing. The service and wine shop is very nice and the whole area is dog friendly, inside and out. The outdoor chairs by the vineyards and short walk along road for amazing views is a must see. I cant say anything critical of this very special winery/restaurant and the staff. I work in the wine industry and very impressed with this winery and location, design, views and great food, and of course their wine.
