Firebirds Wood Fired Grill Oklahoma City

First of all our server asked for our names which we felt was inappropriate and too familiar. When i mentioned this to the manager he responded that they wanted us to feel as if we were having dinner in friends home. I almost responded “ at a friend’s home I don’t get a bill at the end of a meal”. The salads were very good but the soup that our friends ordered was luke warm at best.

Decided to try this restaurant but it’s just not good and the service was horrible.

First time dining here. Went for their Veterans Day deal as I am a veteran. I commend them for the deal as my meal was on the house. Food was excellent. I had the surf turf $66) and my wife had the filet mignon $32). We had the Lobster spinach queso appetizer which was good. For dessert we had the chocolate cake and it was the best chocolate cake I've ever had; moist chocolatey! Will definitely dine again!

The steak was supposed to be one of their specificities. it was underboiled and full of ripped and fat. although the staff tried two times to take it back and grab or cook a new one, the quality of the first steak would not lead to trust a replacement would be better.

Great place for brunch! Regular menu plus special and mimosas!
