Lotus Thai - Oklahoma City

Very rude staff.Went to pick up a to-go order and had to use the restroom first. Upon exiting the restroom I got my to-go sacks and the only words this hateful lady said to me were, “Only dine in customers can use the restroom”. Pretty sure my money for the to-go order was giving her a paycheck just as much as if I would have sat in to dine. And to top it off, there were NO dine in customers in the restaurant at that time. Completely empty.Ridiculous. Will never bring my business to the place again.

Well, the previous place that was here, Mr. Pho's was a real treat. I grew up eating there and have amazing memories there. This place replaced it, so I figured I might as well try it out for old times sake! Boy, do I regret it that decision.I came in Wednesday with my girlfriend and had a seat. We are then greeted by possibly the rudest employee I've met in quite some time. She may have just been having a bad day, but she was truly impossible to talk to. Very blunt, cold personality that was EXTREMELY unappealing for her job. Their Stir Fry chef was out at the moment, so all we could order was Curry. Fine, I'm a Curry fan, she isn't, but I am. We both order and she goes to the restroom. She comes back horrified!I go to the bathroom as well and dear lord, I understand why! The hall that leads to the bathroom smelled like a portapotty and the bathroom itself somehow smelled worse. I felt so disgusting while I was in there, I almost lost my appetite, but I did sit down and eat afterwards, so at least the service was fast.The Curry was average, but two Curries for $27.00 wasn't exactly cheap given the overall experience. Again, the Curry was alright, so if you're ordering to go, it would be a fine place, but I know for a fact I'll never be back. Please, petition to bring back Mr. Pho's!

The food was fantastic, followed another review and decided to get their tofu panang curry along with a small cup of their lemon grass( tom yum) soup. Both were delicious.

The food is excellent, and the pad thai is among the best I’ve ever had!

Wish this wasn't the case but I have to give some harsh feedback. Ordered through Grubhub and we're pretty disappointed. The Coconut Soup tastes like it's been watered down. The chicken was good and it had mushrooms, red/yellow bell beppers and onions. The Pad Thai honestly smelled like dogfood. Hopefully it was just a heavy hand on a certain spice, or maybe even a stale one. There didn't look to be anything visually off...but it smelled like wet dog and when you first open the puppy chow. Both men who ordered tried to power through it but just couldn't as the smell was too strong/off. These dudes love Pad Thai. The Spring Roll were fried and delicious and while the Crab Rangoon was small on the small side, it was delicious and eaten right away. Next time we'll stick with Panang or Thai House.
