Louie's Midtown - Oklahoma City

After reading the great reviews, my mother friend and I decided to try this place as a last-minute decision. we ordered a south-west wrap, 3 small pigs and tilapia tacos, nothing big or something that would last too long. we got the appetizers immediately and the server seemed to forget that we were customers. she did not come back to ask how it was, or refill our drinks. After 50 minutes waiting, she finally returned and told us that there was a chaotic day and our food would be on soon we saw that several tables come, get food and go before we even saw our food. 15 minutes later we got our food. Very slow service. eating bad quality. not what they pay for. loved the terrace sitting opportunity, but had to go into me if we needed something. wing nit full cooking cold fries warm beer. No thanks

Beautiful place, quite quiet, not too crowded, with a selection of good things to eat, and open too late. in the rule, the main kitchen closes about 2200 with the appetizers and pizza still up to 0000 or 0200 depending on the night of the week and the mass ordered the tortilla chips with sausage queso and salsa as appetizer. the entrée was a French dip sandwich (on a baguette instead of their standard queer) along with a cup chili as side selection the chips, queso and salsa were very good and plentiful. quite a delicious combination of the French diving sandwich was quite good itself. the meat and the melted cheese was nicely spiced to go with the auju on the side. Louie’s midtown is a cozy restaurant! their outdoor terrace is great, they have good live music, great eating and great service. my friend and I went out on Friday and started the evening. the service we had at the bar was very good. as always, eating was fast and delicious and the live band played great cover songs.

Great food and service, but. My wife and I ate at Louie's midtown last night. Food and service was very good. Sandwiches were were warm and well presented. Service was fast and courteous. One item perplexed me a bit. We ordered the Modelo specials, 24 oz. I noticed on the can that it was 3.2 beer. I was unaware that an establishment that served liquor would offer 3.2 beer instead of strong beer. I guess from now on I need to inquire about the beer. I wonder if all Louie's or even if all HSG establishments do this as a common practice?
