Hammer's House of Hog - Oliver

Had the pulled pork on a bun - very tender and great flavor. Great value too - there was a lot of pork stuffed into that bun. Maybe could have used a bit more sauce, but I'm sure you could ask for extra. Menu is limited but I like that - he does a few things and does them well. Will definitely stop again the next time we are in Oliver.

I pre-ordered the " Pig Out" for my family event and it was fantastic! Hassle free, delicious food that was enjoyed by everyone. I had 15 people of all ages and had nothing but rave reviews. The owner was very friendly and I was able to get a bit of extra food and extra buns the day of the event after learning more people were coming last minute. I would do this again in a heartbeat, no fuss, plenty of food and a great price for loads of pork, ribs, beans , coleslaw, four different sauces and buns. All fresh and delicious. Five out of five for sure!

Our group of 11 (with 6 teenagers/young adults) ordered the full picnic for $140. We had to order days in advance, for a day that wasn't already booked and pay in cash at pick up. We brought a few utensils and drinks and ate it in the park behind. Oh my goodness. Such amazing food that filled us all (with leftovers). We brought extra buns, but otherwise there was so much amazing pork (that I easily shredded with 2 forks), 4 sauces (love the 'Bama sauce), coleslaw, beans and the amazing rib tips. The beans were even better when reheated the next day. This was an outstanding way to feed our family- we will be back again.

This pork pulled BBQ is absolutely fantastic! It's great quality and friendly service. Big cities could learn a thing or two from this one-man-band! I will go back every time I visit the Okanagan Valley and go out of my to go there! Forget the expensive winery restaurants, just go here!

Flavourful BBQ at its best. Open most days of the week in summer. The best in the south Okanagan. Owner/host is very knowledgeable and helpful.
