Írjon visszajelzéstWe work this year through all restaurants in the Olmsted region. Today's journey brought us to Matteo. I only had a reservation to make sure that we have a table that seems to be practical as there were some large groups that are already sitting on our arrival. On the menu there was a good mix of appetizers, salads, pizza and high-quality Italian restaurant options. We ordered the sauteed quietari and the meatballs as our appetizers. The rest was well prepared and was not over cooked or gum-like, as the rest can get. Had a good taste overall with the intended red sauce. The meatballs were amazing! The mixture of cheese, red sauce and ground meat mix worked very well in the dish. They were quite large and a good part for 2-3 people. For entrees we ordered spaghetti and meatballs, lemon butter chicken and manicotti. The spaghetti and meatballs had the same meatballs as the appetizer, which very well paired with what seemed fresh, spaghetti noodles. The lemon butter chicken was perfectly tender with the chicken fork, without overcooked and dry. Paired with Linguine noodles and lemon butter sauce, the dish worked well and was quite delicious. The Manicotti was also very excellent. The mix of the pasta dish with the ricotta filling and paired with a slightly sweet red sauce was perfect. For Dessert we ordered a slice of lemonecello cake and an order from Cannoli to go, so they haven't tried yet, but they looked amazing. Overall, good service had throughout the visit. One rarity, it seems to have been a slowdown/change somewhere in the chain of things. We finished our beverage and appetizer order, got our drinks/appearances and were partly through food before our server came back to take our Entree order. That was a little strange, but I noticed the same situation at other tables, so this might be standard here. This extended our overall visit, but we had nothing to do with it when we took a friend back then. If we had been pushed for a long time, it could have been a problem. Overall, this restaurant would definitely recommend if you are in the mood for some fantastic Italian cuisine.
My wife and I had dinner there tonight and the experience was very mediocre! Sat at a bar table to start, received waters right away but then it took 5 minutes for her to come back and by that time we just moved to the bar hoping for better service! Being 2 of 4 people at the bar, we figured service would be quicker, but the bartender wasn't interested in us apparently! 45 minutes into our dining experience we have only had wine! We ordered lamb chops, flavor was fine but they were on the more well done side! Entrees were good, it just took forever! 2 hrs in and we were finally done! Our bartender didn't seem interested in taking care of us considering we had to wait and ask for everything! No dessert menu offered, he just set our check down and walked away! Our bill was high, we came to spend money and it was our 1st time there! The way our experience was, I will take my business elsewhere!
This Restaurant was Absolutely Delicious!!! We have been coming to Olmsted Falls for some time now and always wanted to try out this restaurant. I don't know why we haven't sooner. From the appetizer Meatballs and Sausage Appetizer to the Chocolate Cheese Cake dessert everything was perfect! We also had the Wedding Soup, some of the best Wedding soup I've had. The entries was the best of all. We had the Fettuccine Alfredo and the Chicken Matteo... both werr amazing. That Chicken Matteo was to die for, the lobster sauce it was sitting in was heavenly. Other than the great food the restaurant is super cute. No outdoor seating, and I do recommend reservation because they are busy. The staff was very kind. Location there is perfect, there are shopping things near buy and a great little ice-cream shop near there too that's one of our favorite! Will be back again
Started with some drinks and they were delicious and pretty strong. Oven baked bruschetta was really good! (Coming from someone who doesn't usually get bruschetta). Wedding soup was good as well but the Caesar salad was amazing. The lobster ravioli was one of the best either of us has had and the chicken parm was a really good large meal. Got the cannolis to go and had them a while later and they too were also amazing. We found our new Italian restaurant. We sat in the bar area and service was great. Next time we're going to make a reservation and sit in the main section to see what it's like in there.
So I showed up here on Ash Wednesday to get something to go. Understand that mass cooked fish can be iffy. This is not an iffy piece of tilapia and risotto with broccoli. Now, to go dishes can be questionable but not this. Even the lining with aluminum foil shows they understand to go food. The fish not over cooked and the risotto say awhile as I drove but still good. Bread and soup tasty. A little pricey for 20 but enough for 2 if eaten with bread and salad/soup.
