Írjon visszajelzéstI've tried Dojo numerous times since it opened in Fashion Food Hall. I've also tried it once in Promenade Greenhills. Authentic Hokkaido milk in itself is delicious! I've tried it numerous times in 3 forms (milk, pudding, and softserve when I visited Hokkaido, Japan; and I loved it! I would have it everyday with breakfast or as dessert. It has a unique and addicting sweetness to it that I haven't found in other types of milk. So when I found a place in the PI that actually serves this in softserve form, I wouldn't hesitate to get some for myself. Dojo does not disappoint! The milk softserve does taste like what it's supposed to taste like! I've also tried all their tubs of different flavored ice cream. You can get a free taste for every flavor!!! I also give these good reviews as the flavors are very rich and actually taste like what they are actually named as. My favorite is buttercream and matcha. : The time I got hooked to this place, they didn't offer cups nor cones yet nor did they even have the soft serve or drinks! Just the tubs for P150! It was so good! That's how OG I was as a customer. Lol. I know their products are kinda pricey for the amount they serve but from what I have heard, the products are actually imported from Japan and they really do taste that good, which gives your money's worth. It was my first time trying the cereal crunch, recently. The salt in the cereal makes the soft serve flavor pop out more. Yummy! {uid:41124381}
We just had dinner and I was craving for dessert. They're the only stall at the SM Mega Fashion Hall food court that offers ice cream. While I was waiting in line, I saw some unconventional flavors like wasabi and the usual ones like chocolate. They allow the customers to taste test their ice cream before ordering. I was set on getting the black sesame ice cream. I almost made a mistake of getting the cup I thought it's the same with the scoop. The staff was so nice even when I got my order wrong she just cancelled it and replaced it with the double scoop ice cream. I got the Chocolate for the other flavor. Two huge scoops for 160php. Value for money. And the flavors were on point. I love how creamy their ice cream is. One of the best ice creams for me.
Overpriced ice cream that doesn't even taste that good with so limited flavors to choose from. Good for experience but a waste of money! Flavors were also common and expected
Dojo Dairy is not a typical Japanese ice cream. It's made of Hokkaido milk which gives distinct flavor. One weekday afternoon we dropped by at the SM Mega Food Hall and had some scoop of Wasabi flavor ice cream. On first taste it's just a normal ice cream I can't find the wasabi flavor but it's getting stronger and stronger while digging on it until I can taste the striking flavor of wasabi... hot and spicy! Wasabi Ice Cream for Php110.00 per scoop 4/5 #ilovetoeatph
Automatically, when I see green ice cream, I think pistachio and stray away from it. Sorry, but I absolutely dislike pistachio anything. But the green ice cream at Dojo Dairy isn’t pistachio, but wasabi. You heard/read right my darling foodies—wasabi! If you foodies know me, I love spicy stuff, and when it comes to wasabi—my sushi and sashimi is incomplete without it. But then, ice cream?! Without the sushi of course. It really was a wonderful scoop if you ask me. Well, let me clarify, I did have the Wasabi Lite flavor. The standard wasabi version, they didn’t have stock. I asked as to why, and they said that it didn’t sell as much as the lite version. Honestly, I was bummed at first, so I ordered the lite. But me being bummed earlier was soon forgotten. Lite flavored? It was anything but. The ice cream was rich in flavor. I could definitely taste the wasabi. The cream part of it was rich and smooth in itself. The cream/milk part of it mainly comes from Hokkaido, Japan, which is like the dairy the dairy capital of Japan. It was love at first bite. Undoubtedly, a wonderful dessert as it cleanses out the palate, and isn’t a heavy dessert at all. It really was a perfect way to end a meal (I had wings from another resto nearby). Service was great. Even though you might think, ‘It’s just an ice cream stand,’ the employees are great. They are friendly and surely know the products well. Ask their opinion on what to eat, if you’re a first timer. If still unsure, a free taste or ta few doesn’t hurt. Price wise, P110 for a scoop may seem costly for some, but believe it’s worth it. The ingredients themselves are of high quality. Here’s a tip, you don’t want ice crystals in your ice cream. I personally hate it when that happens. It’s not pure cream, but a bit of water mixed in. No thanks. Now the grayish looking ice cream with black specs seemed interesting. Black Sesame. Next time, I will give that one a try.
