Farnam House Brewing Company - Omaha

Like to review the food but after 90 min, still didn't have it. The service is horrible! On a positive note, the new beers were good. Unfortunately, it took 30 min just to get the first drink. We ended up leaving and headed next door to the Crescent Moon where the service is always good. Ordered, served, and finished our meal in less than an hour.

We had the spent grain pretzel, grilled cheese, philly, and fries. They were each really yummy. The fries were also good, along with all of the condiments, which were made on site. Queso, stone-ground mustard, ketchup, and mayo. Yummy!!

We went in the first night of Omaha Restaurant Week. By 8:15 they were out of one of their first course selections. We ordered the tomato 'bisque'. The recipe must be Campbell's tomato soup and an equal part salt. Not rich and creamy as defines a bisque. The second course was okay and cheesecake dessert was good. Though no longer hungry, I am not satisfied. The service started out okay but ironically our waitress became less attentive as the place emptied. Overall, disappointing.

We had driven part Farnam House a couple of weeks ago and decided to do some destination dining/drinking and our trek was well worth it. The beers were different and unique from anything else we have ever had and we had a hard time picking what to drink next. We started with the spent grain pretzel add an appetizer. My husband had the Apple Walnut Salad and the small portion was more than enough. I have a falafel taco with chips/salsa for $4.00 that was also filling. This is definable a repeat offender for us.

Was blown away, went in not expecting much. My friend once opened a restaurant in the same location and it didn't do very well the space is kind of unique as when you drive by it doesn't look like it would be a restaurant but rather a retail store. I ordered a flight of six beers each one was amazing all house brewed. The man behind the bar was very friendly and very helpful. I ordered the turkey club sandwich which was amazingly flavorful and came with a house salad that was one of the best I've ever had. It was all very reasonably priced and I will certainly be back very soon!
