I want to start by saying I enjoy Waba very much. But never gets back to this place. Very rude blonde lady took our order and seemed very angry that she had to do it. She was not only rude for us, but for the other gentleman eating at another table.
I usually do not write reviews and complain, but I have to write this review. My friend and I came to eat something when we went in, we were not greeted, but we were greeted with ugly stars. The staff were loud and rude. Especially the blonde lady who was tormenting us was so unprofessional and rude. I asked her a simple question and she sighed and pointed to the menu. Some of the chefs didn't wear a mask? This was confusing because it required a face mask shield outside the memory. I'll come back to this place.
Today, I had the worst service ever! I requested a box to carry two drinks, and the tall girl behind the counter seemed annoyed that she had to bend down to get one for me. Once I received the carrier, I had to figure out how to open it myself. When I inquired about the Wabba sauce and hot sauce, I was told that those packets were only for delivery orders. I will never return to this restaurant again!
I placed two separate orders and patiently waited for them. She called out numbers 82 and 83, while I was waiting for 83 and 84. When she then called number 85, I thought perhaps it was a mobile order. As I stood there, she looked at me with annoyance and instead of politely asking if I needed help, she yelled, “What are you still waiting for?” I replied that I was waiting for number 84, feeling embarrassed by her outburst since I hadn’t given her any attitude nor had I asked about my other order. She insisted she had called it, but I reminded her that she only called 82 and 83, skipping to 85 afterward. When she continued to argue with me, I pointed out her mistake, and she started complaining to the cook in Spanish. Since I also speak Spanish, I understood her comments. The level of customer service here is just appalling, and I refuse to continue going where I am treated with such disrespect. I understand that many places are short-staffed; I work in customer service myself, and I know how to treat customers with respect, even when they are mistaken. We shouldn’t have to endure this kind of behavior, especially when it's aimed at humiliating someone. I suggest they hire better staff. Until then, I will take my business elsewhere.
