Stokker Hotel - Oradea

A very nice hotel in a tastefully renovated old building in leaf, park like surroundings. Quiet and clean. Very friendly staff, and a high quality restaurant and bar in the courtyard (closes at 23:00 so that your sleep is not destroyed by noise). Your own assessment is... three stars I would give four. Very, very good value for your money. This is a facility that takes its business and its customers seriously. Extra plus: a convenient location for train travelers, halfway between the railway station and the historic center of Oradea, with a few minutes walk to everyone.

The personnel is very friendly and kind. The room was clean and the position great near the city center. I recommend!

The hotel is very well situated , about 5-10 min walking to Str. Republicii, center. So visiting Oradea for couple of days, enjoying the city center, you can leave your car in front of the hotel.The hotel is nicely decorated in modern but still traditional combination. I had a big apartment there having all necessary stuff for a good journey. the breakfast is a little bit limited, I would recommended to get local/traditional products, and make use of imagination.Prices for hosting are average level and correct, did not tried the restaurant.Personnel is welcoming all guests.

The recently refurbished hotel is an extremely comfortable place to stay, mid way between the railway station and the town both of which are within easy walking distance.Staff are attentive and helpful although it is a pity that my emails to book a room from UK were unanswered, so I had to turn up and hope for the best.I think it may have recently changed its name, which may account for this.
