Truffle Bistro - Orange

I would give this place a 4.5 overall. The service was good. The food was delicious. We ordered tapas: Short rib gnocchi, Spanish sausage, caprese salad, stuffed dates, and the truffle fries. All came out pretty quickly (we got there during a short lull) and everything was really delicious. I had a glass of the rose and the chianti both I enjoyed. My partner ordered the strawberry margarita and he liked it. They have an extensive cocktail menu and a decent selection of different wines. All reasonably priced. The dessert was good.The place is located in a strip mall, which is kind of random. But the inside was quaint and cute. Our tables were NOT sticky (I saw some reviews mention this and we did not have that experience). Everything was clean. Everyone was friendly and our server checked in with us.We will definitely come back.

We started with a scallop appetizer, which was absolutely tasty. We paired it with Bocelli Delle Venezie Pinot Grigio, a lovely choice. I enjoyed a Greek salad that was equally delightful, while my wife had the sea bass, which was also delicious. I opted for the rack of lamb, and it was incredibly tender, practically falling off the bone. This little hidden gem is a quiet spot worth discovering. The food, wine, and ambiance were all excellent. I would definitely return and highly recommend this place.

The tabletops were dirty, and the servers seemed to be in a hostile work environment. My husband ordered the ‘robo de toro,’ and it was extremely salty. The owner's gaze was uncomfortable and made us feel uneasy. I will never return." In response, the owner commented a day ago: "You must be a sad person.
