Sol Y Mar Mexican Grill Cantina

After trying out numerous seafood restaurants in the area, I was craving some Mexican food. The meal I had was excellent and served in large portions. The menu offered a standard selection typical of Mexican restaurants. The prices were slightly higher than I anticipated, but that was to be expected considering the location. The cashier was a bit too chatty with my group, but overall, the service was good.

I heard they have a new chef, so I decided to give it a try, and I really enjoyed it. The food tastes much better than when they first opened. My favorite dishes so far are the Steak Fajitas and the Fajita Chimichanga, and the rice and beans have great flavor too.

Awesome Mexican food on the island! We tried the steak fajitas, chile rellenos, and chicken enchiladas. While the service might not be as quick as at some other Mexican spots, the quality of the food far outweighs that. We will definitely return!

We have always had great service and the food has been delicious! We love the salads with the grill veggies and they are large. Tamales are my favorite and hubby loves the fajitas.

Finally! A good Mexican joint in Orange Beach! The ingredients are high quality unlike the dog food you get at every other Mexican place from Foley to Gulf Shores to Orange Beach. The steak fajitas are perfect. The margaritas are top shelf. No koolaid tasting sugary ****. This our new non-seafood go-to spot. Also, run by the owners so the staff is friendly as can be and show you a good time. Finding this place made my day today.
