Golden Chick - Orangeburg

I'm very upset that it's closed, but what can I do. I definitely enjoyed it when it was here. My Fave was the spicy chicken tsarte

The macaroni here is always burning and the tea tastes like it is old. The journey through takes forever. On the bright side I only had bad service here. The staff are very nice and very generous with their butter. The yeast rolls are phenomenal. The raspberry lemonade is very delicious.

Just had some for the first time, I ordered golden fried chicken, corn nuggets, mac n cheese, and sweet tea. Strangely the chicken had no taste (like it wasn't seasoned at all) and the tea was sweet but not fresh. Everything else was okay.

I rate Golden Chick a 3 do to my drive through experience. I ordered a 2 piece chicken with a side and drink. The young adult took my money handed me my order. The 2 pieces of chicken look as if it was fried hours before I arrived. I kindly as for my chicken to be freshly prepared. The young adult response was, Ma am , its chicken it is all the same . I received chicken but it wasn 't fresh or hot as freshly prepared chicken should be.

I usually try to avoid Golden Chick because when you go there there's always a problem. The wait is extended past when they tell you that is going to be ,and the service and the food is not that good. A few days ago I went there and ordered catfish she told me it'll be about twenty min& told me to go pull in the waiting lane. She would bring it to me. After about 30 minutes I didn't get anything I went inside I asked where's my catfish ? she said oh he hasn't even dropped it yet ! 30 minutes later they hadn't dropped yet! So I tell you the truth I try to go there every now and then to try to give them a second chance but everytime I do I wish I had not.So I don't recommend it personally. They mix up your order so you don't get your food right. They never APOLOGIZE. The service isn't that friendly Not your kind of place UNLESS you like punishment
