Sweet Masterpiece - Oregon City

Wow, wow, wow! The handmade dark chocolates I tried were pricey, but they were absolutely worth every penny. This is REAL chocolate that even outshines the gourmet bars available in stores! The service was also very pleasant.

I can't thank Crystal enough for stepping in at the last minute to assist me with an order and delivery. She really went above and beyond; I truly consider her an EARTH ANGEL! The treats, the business, and Crystal herself are all fantastic. Many blessings to her!

I was really looking forward to visiting Sweet Masterpiece and arrived at 5:30 PM on a Saturday. The lights were on, the food was in the display case, but the door was locked.

The restaurant features natural ingredients, stunning presentation, and flawless execution! Guests remarked that it was the best cake they've ever tasted at a wedding! We had lavender lemon, red velvet, and chocolate ganache cakes with buttercream frosting. Absolutely delicious!

I was told the cake would be ready for pickup at 1 PM, but it wasn’t ready until 1:20. When I finally got it, the cake was plain and far from what I expected, especially since the owner had assured me it would be beautiful. Honestly, I could have done a better job decorating it myself. During the short drive home, the cake slid off the platter, as shown in the picture. The cake was dense and poorly baked, and the vanilla buttercream lacked sweetness; it tasted like pure butter and was quite greasy in texture. The cake was overpriced, but I gave the owner the benefit of the doubt when she claimed she would provide a beautiful and delicious dessert. That was a big mistake. To make matters worse, the owners did not apologize for the delay in preparation or for making us wait. That felt quite rude. On the day I placed my order, I also bought an oatmeal cookie, a chocolate chip cookie, a cheesecake tart, and a crème brûlée tart for $20! The cookies were mediocre, and both the cheesecake and crème brûlée were just average. Overall, it was an extremely disappointing experience.
