Nation's Giant Hamburgers Great Pies

This is a classic old school castle and cake shop. Nothing beautiful, but all delicious. With some loyal ladies who have worked here for years and offer a good, friendly service. My recent visit was to buy some cakes to take home for Easter. One was a cheesecake with fresh strawberries and red glaze... A big hit with the kids!

I really love this place the burgers are brilliant and no one can beat the cakes ..I recommend it out of little tip if your not a judge fan say to them light Mayo or you are going to have some tears that seems.. in a good way

I hate to admit it, but it's probably 15 years since I ate the nations! Unfortunately, I don't work or live near all locations. I was in Orinda and saw a nation. Wow, I was so excited! I ordered a cheeseburger with grilled onions and a whole double crust apple cake online. Don't wait to pick up my order. Both were so delicious! The cheeseburger was juicy and cheese was oozing everywhere. I'm sorry, no picture of the cake crust was flocky and the apples were tart and fresh. I forgot how delicious the food is at nation. I'll be back soon.

Small location but it was easy to pick up my online order. Parking can be hard during busy times but lately it’s been easy to get one right out front. The burger and fries were tasty!
