Cecil's Texas Style -b-q - Orlando

Bland and tough brisket, Texas toast was thin and covered in garlic salt rather than just garlic... was like biting into crunchy ocean water. Mac salad and cole slaw was in a bath of fluid and not too flavorful. HOW DO YOU NOT HAVE MAC N CHEESE?!? Only thing Texas about this place was the huge fountain drink. I hope it was just a bad day in their kitchen but I wont bother finding out.

Pork Ribs were great! they didnt send utensils so I wasted the greens

My spouse and I love Cecils Texas Style BBQ. I tried every meat combination on their menu with the exception of their Spicy Sausage just because I made in love with their HOT, shop BBQ sauce (which they sell from the bottle). I like spicy, but I don't want to sweat through dinner. Their fresh side dishes are also incredible; one of the only restaurants nearby that sells fried Ocra. For BBQ lovers you will love Cecils.

There are so many varieties of great bbq in Orlando. However when it comes to Texas style BBQ, there's none better than Cecil's! Their beef brisket and pulled pork are smoked to perfection! The sides are fundamentally southern with a hot Texas twist to some of them. For me, the collard greens and black eyed peas are my favs. The Texas toast is loaded with garlic flavor and just enough salt to be addicting. If you still have room at the end of your meal you can finish it off with complimentary soft-serve ice cream! Try Cecil's and you'll understand why it has been a local favorite for a very long time!

I own a full events company! This includes catering. However, I was Day if Coordinator for a wedding to which Cecils catered. They arrived timely, worked well with my staff and the venue. They set up quietly and quickly and fully serviced the line! Mrs. Cecil (without request) automatically communicated with me from across the hall with eye contact and head nods as to her readiness for the release of each table! Needed ZERO direction which equates to excellence and exudes experience! They then quietly and quickly packed up and left but not before graciously feeding us all! They are wonderful and an absolute team that as a fellow professional with high standards ...I recommend!!!
