Írjon visszajelzéstWe heard about a fairly new Japanese restaurant in Orvieto Scalo and thought we'd try it. We liked it enough to return two weeks later with friends. The fixed price, three course meal is a pleasant and reasonable offering. There are a number of choices for each course, with the first tending toward something like the Japanese equivalent of egg rolls, the second usually a variety of pasta, rather different from Italian approaches, and the third either a variety of sushi or some type of grilled kebab. In our two visits, the only bad thing we had was a chicken on skewers which was way too salty. The other items were all good, and the white house wine went with it all very agreeably. The service is quiet and pleasant, although sometimes the courses came out out of order or several at once. The place seems neat and attractive, making for a pleasant visit.
Good sushi, detailed menu and clean restaurant. Service was great, food was quick and food was hot. Sushi tasted fresh, had noodles, tempura, qyoza.
We ended up at Nihori after trying and failing to find a trattoria in old Orvieto that would accept customers at 9 pm on a Saturday. Our gain. We were promptly served. The offer is really wide, the menu cleverly designed with big letters (commendable in case a customer has sight issues) and bilingual i.e. every dish is described in Italian and in English. It can be found on their website complete with prices, which are very reasonable. The food arrived as it was prepared and was, in all, first-rate, especially Yaki udon mare, a dish of stir-fried noodles with seafood and vegetables. The restaurant itself is spacious, well lit, and well ventilated, with plenty of room for every guest. The dining area and the bar are simply and pleasantly designed, the facilities clean and easy to use. The service was swift and unassuming. The hours accommodate people who like to eat late, which I truly appreciate. In all, Nihori was an altogether pleasant experience
