Applebee's Grill - Osage Beach

On January 26, 2024, Kaylee was our server, and she was quick, efficient, and professional. I ordered the $21 ribeye special, served with waffle fries and garlic mashed potatoes. The steak was perfectly cooked, earning an A grade. The fries were decent, but unfortunately, the mashed potatoes were quite bland. My companion had the bourbon steak, which was delicious, along with the toppings, but the mashed potatoes were similarly forgettable. The highlight of the evening was definitely the double crispy fried wings—hot, crispy, meaty, and cooked to perfection! They were a bit pricey but absolutely worth it! On December 22, 2023, Ali served us with a low-key yet attentive approach. She promptly brought our drinks and the pretzel with beer cheese appetizer. I ordered the bourbon burger with waffle fries, cooked to a perfect medium-rare—another A grade. My husband chose the $21 ribeye special with mashed potatoes and cheesy broccoli. While the veggies were slightly overcooked, the steak was excellent. Ali checked on us frequently, and the bright, festive vibe made for a wonderful dinner. Thanks, Applebee's! We had a lovely dinner last night and were pleasantly surprised by all the great promotions! Our server, Sam, was incredibly friendly and knowledgeable. Thanks to her, we learned about the $6 HUGE margaritas—I would have missed out otherwise! We ordered from the two-for-$20 menu: my husband chose an American burger with fries, while I opted for the Meat and Potato Mountain. The meal came with an appetizer, and we selected the onion rings, which were crunchy, hot, and generously portioned. My husband's burger was cooked to his request of medium-rare, and my mountain of meat and potatoes was quite interesting. It was made up of chunks of steak, also cooked rare as I requested, resting on a mound of delicious mashed potatoes, all covered in a fantastic brown mushroom gravy. Usually, restaurant gravies can be overly salty, but this one was perfectly seasoned. My margarita, which was as large as my head (and I have a big head), completed the meal. We left feeling stuffed for under $30. Sam was attentive without being intrusive, regularly checking on us, and the music set the perfect ambiance. We arrived a bit early and missed the big dinner rush, which picked up around 6:15 PM as we were leaving. With a great vibe and good food, we will definitely be back!

It's Applebee's, and it offers a consistently good experience. The service here is exceptional!

The food was great, and the waitress was attentive and efficient. The atmosphere was pleasant and relaxed. I will definitely be returning!

Yeah, that's right! I gave Applebee's a five star review! We didn't expect this, we expected mediocre. We got pa-pow! Three premium drinks, a perfectly cooked steak with two sides and a salad, chicken and pasta dinner with salad, two for $25) all for $44.77! Not counting tip) Don't overlook Applebee's for your date night
