Írjon visszajelzéstI am a big fan of Indian cuisine and was initially skeptical about trying an Indian fast food spot in a shopping center. However, the food exceeded my expectations— it was brilliantly seasoned and reasonably priced. The only improvement I would suggest is to include plain rice on the menu.
I really appreciate what they stand for and the healthy meals they create. On my first visit, I kept it simple and ordered the calf and apple salad, which was delicious, along with the cauliflower dish. I found both to be quite satisfying—safe and tasty. However, I wish they would clearly indicate on their menus (both in-house and online) which items are definitively vegan, not just vegetarian, but 100% VEGAN. I’m sure many of their dishes are also visually appealing.
This is undoubtedly the best food in the mall. Other places tend to taste like fast food, but this restaurant feels genuinely authentic. The dishes aren't overly spicy, and they clearly explain the ingredients and flavor intensity. The portion sizes are just right, and the price is incredible. For just $15 after tax, I had a small meal that was actually enough for two people, and we were really impressed by the overall experience. I'll definitely come back whenever I'm at the mall or in the vicinity!
Good karma restaurant in the Oshawa center is a great fast food option from vegan, vegetarian and anyone who wants to eat clean. If you love Indian food, you will love this place! I always went for a vegan option the sriracha chili cauliflower and chickpea salad; where delicious and full of taste. Many options for anyone based on gluten-free or vegetable. They offer non-vegan / vegetarian options such as grass fed goats curry and butter chicken. I wanted to go to this restaurant first because they have a focus on sustainable and ethical practices such as local food and grass fed meat, which are not only impossible to find in a “fast food” restaurant. Your prices are reasonable and I suggest going between Monday and Thursday to the $5 meal special, which gives you a page and a protein (that is half the price compared to the Friday Sunday menu. Be sure to have on one of the kombucha designs they have on tape – I think it is the live brand in ginger lemon that is a great alternative to soda and juices. I will say my one and only complaint I have for this restaurant is their mission to focus on sustainability, but they use plastic containers as well as plastic cutlery! That, for me, defeats the purpose. I would recommend that you use it in a kind of compostable type of intake container and perhaps bamboo cutlery that I have seen other local, environmentally conscious restaurants. Sah-tane! What's going on?
This was a new and welcome adventure for me, since there are never any good vegan options at the mall. I had the Daal and a side of Kale with raisins and apple. The Daal was creamy with medium spice (canadian palette) and quite delicious! The Kale side was delicious with a slight citrus and light oil dressing with chunks of sweet apple and raisins! I really enjoyed this meal and will definitely try another entree next time!
