But the prices are affordable, the service is fast and the placement is quite good for a take out in order to enjoy the food outside at aker brygge/tjuvholmen on a nice day. So quite many pros! I think what is not the best at the sushi is the rice. I am not sure what it really is that is making me give 3 stars but it's not a sushi that makes me amazed. I also don't like when they use this wasabi paste instead of the real deal. But still 140 nok for 12 pieces/ 2 rolls is not bad! I definitely recommend it for a take out or a quick bite.
Pricy but nevertheless solid sushi place in Aker Brygge. Nothing exceptional except that is it open late compare to opening hours in Oslo.
Tammy Sushi was a fantastic find on my first day in Oslo. Anyone who has been to Oslo recently will know how expensive it is; often to the point it can feel hard to find something that feels worth the money it costs. Tammy Sushi was a place that was ABSOLUTELY worth the money. The food was very reasonably priced for Norway, at about £10 per pizza, made with super fresh ingredients, and very tasty. The staff were chatty, polite and kind, giving not only great service but lots of tips about the city. Great place for anyone visiting Oslo and looking for a chilled out bite to eat at a good price.
When you visit Oslo, you must make a stop at Tammy Sushi Pizza and Cafe bar. Despite how ridiculously expensive Oslo is for a city, a beautiful pizza will only set you back the Norwegian equivalent of £10, one of the cheapest and best purchases I made in Norway. The service was very personal as the location of the restaurant is tucked away on a back street. So as we waited for our meals on a quiet Saturday afternoon in May, our server continually ran across the street to bring back fresh ingredients like basil. Something I have never witnessed before. It made a tremendous difference, as I spent my entire trip in Oslo longing to go back for more of the amazing pizza. I still dream of that pizza. As a massive pizza fan, it was one of the best pizzas I have ever had! The staff were friendly and helpful, very talkative and personable. I recommend this place to everyone I speak to. If you like pizza (or sushi, although I can't speak for the sushi part), it is a must in Oslo.
