Hakkaiza - Oslo

Beautiful place with beautiful surroundings to enjoy a relaxed cozy evening meal. interesting food experience my first time at an authentic Chinese place. here is a photo of dessert.

I really didn't want to say anything negative. the place is clean and the staff seems very friendly in the restaurant. we were there for a culinary experience and we went there for our jubilee after we had heard many good things from other people. Eating was just not good. it was probably the worst food I ever had in oslo and certainly the worst for this price class. nothing was refreshed. they were all frozen dimsum and the fillings were all very similar. a sign of mass production and finished. even like fried chicken, this is in the regular hard to get wrong was not crispy, but extremely hard. I think it was new and not fresh. the dessert was also strange. the dinge were not well presented. the place also has no good environment, feels like an kantine. many food trucks like knickabole in vippa offer Asian foods much fresher and tastier. together with this price tag of almost 600 nok for a set menu, it is simply unacceptable.

That was the best culinary experience I ever had! we ordered the tasting menu (hearty hearty) and it was a really amazing experience from beginning to end! this place is a hidden gem. the owners were absolutely fantastic and attentive to our every question, even go on photos for us all around the restaurant! I come back every time I visit oslo!

Excellent location, friendly staff, tasty eating, quite expensive, but so everything is here.

Food was very good, and the service even better. We had the set menu, and loved (almost) everything. We came here for our wedding anniversary and they even gave us a complimentary drink because of it. Would definitely recommend and we look forward to coming back (my wife is Korean and she also loved the food).
