More milky, but good tasting, Cappuccino in FL and not over priced for a change. Going to stick with coffee or places known to the The Source for espresso drinks in FL.

Just had lunch here, AMAZING! Had the open faced smoked ham and Muenster with a cup of the tomato soup. Best tomato soup I?ve ever had! Cut little place tucked in a plaza with pastries, coffees, teas, soups, salads, and sandwiches. Friendly staff and freshly made food was worth the slight wait. Hubby had the quiche. Devine!! Will return for sure.

Finally a great coffee house in South Sarasota! I love the coffee and sandwiches, and stop here most days. The interior design is top notch...as are the sandwiches, salads and pastries. Coffee? Sooo much better than Starbucks. But the best part and what keeps me coming back is the friendliness of the owner and staff. Please try this place for breakfast/lunch/coffee- you won't regret it!

Stopped in here recently and enjoyed probably the best croissant that I've had in a very long time. The coffee is very good also, easily better than starbucks or any other chain coffee store that I've been to. I come down to the Sarasota area often for business, and By the bay bistro will definitely be my go to coffee spot while I'm in town.
