Ramen Tokaiya - Otaru

Crispy bbq pork topping, special secret chilly sauce, the ramen is made with generous portion. Dumplings are also recommended! Very nice place however no warm water is served.

I love the light shoyu ramen ! Cos I don’t like heavy taste. Not sure about the closing time, it seems will close early around 7pm in winter time. Or maybe they finish selling? So better come earlier if you really wanna try it out! :

Visited the restaurant few times during their business hours but it was not open unfortunately. It seems that the owner could just decide not to open at their free will. For those who plan to visit this restaurant, make sure you have plan B or else your stomach would likely be left empty in snowy and rainy weather.

Highly recommended on this ramen restaurant which is running by husband and wife. Ramen broth was not too salty and with handful of umami flavor. Highlight was the barbecue pork which is braised and deep fried to achieve a crunch exterior and yet juicy interior. Bonito rice is good too! Everything here is below 1000 yen and yet the portion is really big. Definitely worth my visit!
