Surprisingly good!! Otaru seemed quite tourustic and restaurants were quite expensive, though this jem was great! Inexpensive, speaking with signs as I speak no Japanese ar all, but food was very fresh an yummy!! great experience, and quite cheap

A nice rustic, unpretentious atmosphere, delicious food, good prices, and fun owners. Be sure to try the local Otaru beer.

Family owned business. Frquented by locals but short business hours (11.30am to 2pm). Inexpensive food but very good quality. Ordered 2 set lunches with the grilled fish but had to order an extra grill fish cause it tasted fantastic. Owner gave us extra tuna marinated in soy sauce for free. Fantastic!!

Really 3.5, this place is a great experience and a good place to drink beer, but the sashimi was still semi frozen and the asparagus was one stalk, potato was good and chicken was great but ended up laying down 7000 yên for a few beers and a meh meal, great time though chatting with staff though Google translate.

懐かしい感じのする古いお店です。ランチタイムにお得な海鮮バラちらし580円を注文し、ウニ500円をトッピングし、そして小樽ビールのジョッキ大680円をいただきました。 海鮮は「旬のネタ」になるので内容は毎日違うそうで、今日は、マグロ、サーモン、しめ鯖、イカ、とびっこ、カツオのたたきと生きたホタテの稚貝が載ってました。普通の茶碗くらいなので量は多くなく、シャリはやわらかめで甘めでした。小さい蕎麦もついていますが、全体的に男性には少ないと思います。たくさん食べたい人は焼き魚定食の方が良いと思います。 終始、話好きなママさんが接客してくれ、楽しい時間を過ごせました。
