Papa Sam's - Ottawa

Best In The West End. Certainly the best pizza in the west end of Ottawa and in the top two or three in the city. Not that this is a hard thing to do in a city with mediocre pizza overall.

Like it for the pizza. Pizza is exceptional, especially during the week. I suspect the same chef isn't in on weekends, as there is a noticeable decline in the quality on many weekends.

One of my Favorites. If you live in the area, do not hesitate. Pay Papa Sam's a visit. It's a friendly atmosphere. A nice little family owned restaurant, with good food for the right price. They make some of the best pizzas around, my favorite being the meatball pizza. Do not forget to try the Philadelphia Steak either!

I'm not sure why there are negative reviews about this place. While it may have a bit of a worn look, the staff is friendly and attentive. I will definitely return for another pizza!
