Jadeland - Ottawa

This restaurant provides very authentic Cantonese food in Ottawa. Food is excellent, probably, it is hard to find better Cantonese food better around Ottawa area. Very busy place and i go there for good food. Yummy!

Jadeland was my go to Chinese restaurant before the pandemic in 2020. Had dim sum there for the first time since the pandemic. Not sure if there 's been a change in management and/or chef but it was horrible! It took 30mins for our first order to arrive. We ordered Chinese greens but we got Chinese broccoli. The ginger squid and beef tripe was dried and not fresh. They diluted their sriracha as a result, it was watery. We will not be returning to this restaurant!

Had a lovely lunch with my family. The food was delicious. We got vegetable fried noodles, General Tao, and stir fried snow peas tips.Also that staff were all very nice and welcoming.

I went into Jadeland just because I was in the area and wanted a bite to eat. I found the food to be standard American style Chinese food at reasonable prices. The staff were friendly and the decor was dated, but reasonably clean.If you like my reviews, photos or video’s don’t be jaded and give a thumbs up

Quaint, almost homey feel, however we did takeoutThe schechuan is good (beef especially so).Rice was good.Spring rolls were very good...recommend.Gen. Tao was only OK...no heat, and was overcooked (tough), but still tasty.We 'll be back.Parking: Small parking lot in behind, otherwise downtown Ottawa street parking... .
