The Albion Rooms - Ottawa

When you've had a week from hell, the last thing you want to do is worry about cooking and meals.

Normally I avoid hotel restaurants like black plague and normally I am correct in doing so.

Nestled in the Novotel Ottawa Hotel, this resto bar may be a little difficult to find at first.

Very nice local, although from outside does not make the idea! very kind staff! Good dishes!

Let me start off declaring we will never be back. This was our third visit in a four month period. I have commented before on the service but found that the food quality made up for it. We had a reservation for nine. We were seated and then, nothing . . . We eventually caught the attention of a server to ask for service. She told me she would send our server over. She showed up 5 minutes later with a "sorry folks I am a little busy". It took forever for the drinks to arrive. We ordered right away and after a long wait some of our meals arrived. The last person at our table was served 5 minutes later. There are so many options for dinner in Ottawa. The Albion Rooms are off the list permanently.
