Zolas Restaurant - Ottawa

Received a gift card to Zolas and used it on a pizza to go. Thin crust pizza is my favorite. I loved it! For those who aren't a big fan of thin crust would be disappointed. The toppings were fresh and the cheese was amazing. Good portion sizes

Recommended by a friend, I had lunch there today. Parking is certainly not an issue.The service was pretty good. A little over-enthusiastic for my personal liking but she was right there when needed.I ordered their Special Meatballs. A tad expensive for the three portions I received I thought. The bread is made there I was told and it was quite good. The meatballs were a stronger taste than I was expecting.

Italian food that I quite enjoyed. Had the lunch special which was very good and more than enough food. The service as excellent and the menu has a wife variety of selections. My colleague raved about the spicy sausages. Good atmosphere and the owner came out to say hello and thank us for our business.

Fantastic lunch and bring your own wine event. Maybe next time they will remember the bread. Nevertheless we will definitely be back again.

We chose to go to Zola's because of its proximity to the other errands within the area, and the fact that they had celiac-friendly food and live music. It was only as we were preparing to go that we actually checked out the reviews. Seeing all of the negative feedback, we were a little concerned, but we were incredibly happy with our decision to go anyway. Between the 4 of us, we had chicken, salmon, shrimp and steak - all of it beautifully prepared and wonderfully delicious! The gluten-free scones were heavenly.We were so satisfied, we actually all had dessert and an after-dinner drink!We will definitely be back!
