Dickey's Barbecue Pit - Overland Park

Dickey's is to barbecue what Chipotle is to Mexican cuisine—pretty generic. However, just like Chipotle has its fans, Dickey's does too. While the meat doesn't have a strong smoky flavor, I find the sauce (which I prefer spicy) to be quite good, and the portion sizes are fairly generous. Don't forget to try the fried okra! My family also enjoys the enormous pickles and the complimentary soft serve ice cream. Whenever I visit, I notice a tub of ValPak coupons, but it seems they only distribute them in the zip code where the restaurant is located.
