Maloney's Sports Grill - Overland Park

Met some coworkers for happy hour. Food and service on the patio was very good. Great happy hour specials on food and drinks.

Food was ok a little bland. Service was great. Tried to have dinner with my wife, daughter, and her friend. The table next to us was over served, intoxicated and yelling to talk at 8pm on a Friday night. We ate and got out of there. But as we were leaving 2 twenty something men/boys also were leaving. They proceeded to talk trash to my daughters friend like she was judging them. Granted these are 12 year old girls. The boys were obviously intoxicated and walked away. One of them turned around and looked like he was gonna come back and start up again. I told the girls to get in and we split. It doesn't help that the place looks like a construction zone and is dark. Probably won't be back. Not an atmosphere for family's I guess.

Nice sports bar. Drinks were good and reasonably priced. Had some great specials. Service was good and the waitress was polite.

Still open during remodel. Causal bar food with good atmosphere in the heart of old op. Wasn't impressed with their brussel sprouts.

For me, it was a very pleasant introduction to the American bar atmosphere
