Froggers Grill - Oviedo

This place feels more like a bar than a restaurant, which is a great addition since Oviedo lacks good bar options. During my visit, I had a few drinks, ordered some wings, and enjoyed a game on TV. The wings arrived in a timely manner and were incredibly tasty. The service at the bar was prompt and friendly. I really appreciate the transformed ambiance as well.

The space looks fantastic, especially after the redesign. It has a great aesthetic, earning it a solid 5 out of 5. However, the service has been disappointing. The staff seems unaware of regular customers, even some well-known faces. After two more visits, I'm considering not returning, which is disheartening given that I've been a customer for 20 years.

They have recently renovated this restaurant. It is not as homey as it once was. I worked here 20 years ago and it was way busier but I believe Covid is what caused the dip in people there. Our waitress, Maddie, was awesome!! Very personable and funny. Would go back just for her and of course the black n gold wings. And homemade Ranch n Bleu Cheese dressings.

The black and bleu burger was fresh and tasty and cajun fries crisp and flavorful. The wings were smaller than usual, but cooked perfectly. We like them well done, grilled and retossed in sauce. They missed the mark on being retossed, they were dry, but they did give us a side of sauce. If you truly like your wings hot and spicy, go for 3 mile Island or hotter.

It was great. To bad they couldn't give me brocoli instead of the Clawson. I could only eat the fish because I couldn't switch my side. But The rest was ok. The tables stink a little like there not washed but it's ok. I STILL was able to have a good time.
