Royal Farms - Owings Mills

I stopped by to refuel and grab a bite to eat. The layout made it easy to find drinks and snacks. I enjoy coming here to pick up a few items before heading home.

I went to eat at noon and ordered four drumsticks, two buns, and fries. When I went to pay for my order, I packed my food to take back to work. I swear they gave me the oldest chicken they had, as it was definitely not fresh. It fell apart when I picked it up. Do yourself a favor and avoid eating here unless you can check the freshness of the food. I wouldn't even give that chicken to my dog. It's a shame I wasted 20 bucks.

Update: I tried again months later, and unfortunately, the same issue persists. Perhaps if they hired more staff for this location instead of reallocating them elsewhere, they could keep the deli open like other locations do. I just don’t understand why the management would allow the deli to stay closed in such a busy area.

I tried to get some chicken wings at midnight when everything else was closed, just after returning home from a late flight. There were three employees working: one at the food/chicken station and two at the checkout. Unfortunately, I was informed that they don’t serve chicken wings and had to settle for a drumstick or a thigh that must have been sitting around for who knows how long. It's odd to have someone at the food station who refuses to cook.

I stopped filling up and eating a bite. The floor plan made it easy to find drinks and munchies. I like to come here to buy some things before I come home.
