Írjon visszajelzéstMy wife and I just came for some comfort bar food and man we are impressed. We are vegetarian and they have a wide range of treats. New place.
The staff is ON IT! Great food and great prices, including a wide selection of beer on tap I wouldn't go anywhere else for a nice relaxing dinner close by.
We visited this spot after to local spot didn't fall through. And like the other spot it was crowded, and due to football season. When you walk in, there is a sign to advise to seat yourself. Not a good thing for especially when we are still a pandemic, IMO. The indoor seating was pretty much full, so we had to sit outdoors, and there wasn't many good places to sit. Once we found a spot, we waited for a server. Sad, we noticed that there was only one server for the whole area. Our server, asked us if she could get us something to drink. We ordered waters with lemon. We were looking for menus, and then she placed a card in front of us and advised we had to scan with our phones to see the menu. (I do wonder what if someone doesn't have a phone to view the menu) So after checking the menu, I was hoping to order from their weekend menu, the bacon egg's benedict, but when we started to place our order, we were advised that the brunch items are not available once the game starts. It would've been handy if that was posted somewhere on their menu, sense we had to wait a minute for the server to return. I had to finally ask her to help us with the menu, since this was our first visit to the location. I can tell she was annoyed with us, and I beginning to feel the same way. I was already annoyed at how unclean the tables were, including the ladies room. There paper towels all over the floor, and the air dryer was out of order, plus the soap dispensers were malfunctioning. Finally, we placed our orders, we ordered the jumbo pretzel for starters and then I had the BYOB, with fried onions (not even fried onions, they were battered fried onions to be exact, bacon, lettuce, tomato, and Chipotle barbecue sauce with Swiss, and hubby had the shrimp linguine. We ended up switching, since my burger was not appeasing nor deserve a good rating. I will say the burger was fresh, since I did cut a small piece from it, but here is where things went wrong, the cheese barely melted to the burger, there was hardly any sauce, since they charge you for every topping, the bacon was sadly so small and costly, and the fries, well re-fried. YES Refried old fries! Now hubby's dish, was tasty but very spicy and the shrimp was a tad salty. So I would've been nice if the server checked on the guests often. If this was the hype everyone talked about, I must have missed it.
Saturday late afternoon, they had enough servers, food and beer was fast. I liked their Blackberry-Apple Cider. Refreshing and a little sweet. They had a lot on draft. Don't recommend doing a flight of beers. My four beer flight cost $16! We loved their spinach artichoke dip w pita pieces for appetizer. Pic makes the dip look like not much, but there was plenty there for two people. I had the French Dip, loved it. The au jus had some rosemary in it, reminded me of homemade gravy after Thanksgiving but w beef. Coleslaw was lightly dressed, good if you're on a diet. Fresh but could have used a bit more mayo/salt/pepper. Vegetarian wife got the Impossible Burger. Did not like the $2.50 upcharge for it, but loved the tots and burger was cooked perfectly.
My visit to World of Beer was for drinks, so I did not order food. The drinks were very good, the bartender was extremely attentive, knowledgeable and friendly. I didn?t feel rushed and enjoyed my time at this restaurant. I will definitely visit there again and order food. I highly recommend this restaurant if you?re going out for a night of drinks.
