Quod Restaurant & Bar - Oxford

Had a great lunch on Sunday menu a little unclear (specials board) overall very satisfied.

To disappoint. looks like his not fresh and pretty hard

Beautiful restaurant with good menu. the ambiente was alive when a little loud, but added to the experience. could not fail to eat or service, the only thing was to the restaurant as hotel dweller, we were asked to go through restaurant and queen at the doorstep. a little clumsy, didn't feel so inviting, even though we had booked a table.

Lovely place in great spot opposite beautiful The Queens College and near Radcliffe Camera Sadly, a few key issues which can’t be ignored. Firstly, the heating wasn’t working. They did supply blankets if you were lucky enough. Secondly, the salad had a dressing on which wasn’t in the menu Next, salad with creamed potatoes and bone marrow didn’t feel like a fit made in heaven and felt like a lazy accompaniment It took 3 times of asking to get water for the table. The kitchen is being refurbished and the pizza menu wasn’t available. It was a big birthday celebration so it wasn’t quite as expected. On the plus side, the staff gave me a complimentary ice cream and candle for the birthday which was nice and when we approached the staff about the issues they responded brilliantly. We suggested that had they emailed us after reservation and told us about the kitchen and heating problems we could have made an informed choice to turn up or not and they said they will be doing that until issues are rectified. They were grateful for feedback and were very apologetic and gave us 10 percentage off the bill. We will definitely go there again as we’ve all had good experiences there in the past.

Just one of the best places to enjoy a romantic, peaceful dinner. Food is just great and everything about the place, from the smooth lights to the amazing view on the High Street and the medieval buildings below, adds to perfection. Prices are not cheap but, considering the what and where, I would say not too steep either.
