Írjon visszajelzéstWe went for a drink there (don’t think it does food) before we went to Jacobs inn for food. It is a lovely traditional English pub (very rare these days) with a good selection of real ales. Would recommend having a drink there.
Dog friendly pub with garden which has grassy and paved areas. Tables in both sun and shade, some with umbrellas. Friendly landlady greeted us on arrival. Good for gin fans with extensive gin menu available. Well kept beer served at correct temperature. I opted for...Long Crendon's
We stopped in just by chance and enjoyed some really wonderful fun, music was nice, met some of the locals and had a laugh or two had a ham and cheese pizza simple but enjoyable this place was really quite up beat and fun!
Friendly atmospheric location with staff who pull out all the Stops to make u feel like u are part of the this unique pub! Visited on a Sunday evening, not expecting much to be happening, to my delight a gorgeous young woman playing a violin,...and her male companion playing an accordion, unusual combination of age and instruments made for an enchanting evening, Boy could this lady sing from the heart, evoking all manner of joy and sadness in a heartbeat. Crowd were attentive and silent when it mattered, don't see this response from people in most pubs anymore. This pub is located approximately miles from the City Centre, wonderful that a bus runs every half hour up until pm every night past it's door ! On certain nights of the week it runs Trad and Jazz sessions, did I mention Sambos and choice of Food , as good as the Music and Dead Reasonable Too! Beer choices also Brill, Beer Prices will surprise u as Much! Apparently, and I will endorse that, they serve the best Pint of Guinness in Oxford and Beyond! So to recover from the Buslte of city centre Oxford, take a fifteen min ride on the bus for an unique pub experience ! Leslie Cork Ireland
