I spoke with the Subway manager, who suggested that I could come pick it up. I had chosen delivery for a reason, so that option didn’t work for me. When I inquired about getting a refund instead, the manager reiterated that I could come collect it instead of providing a credit. I explained that I was unable to do either, which was precisely why I opted for delivery in the first place. I requested a refund to my card, but the manager said their system didn’t allow for that. They could only leave cash at the register. The manager then asked if she could call me back after looking into the situation. I was puzzled about what needed to be investigated, as the Coke was simply missing. Eventually, the store owner called back and claimed that they had given me all possible options. When I asked how she could make me happy, I suggested delivering the Coke. She replied that she couldn't do that because she wasn’t allowed on someone else’s property. I was at a loss for words. Next, I was informed that they couldn’t satisfy my request. However, she suggested that I reach out to DoorDash to have them pick up the Coke (of course, with an additional delivery fee). When I asked whether DoorDash had received the Coke with the order or if it was overlooked in the store, she acknowledged that mistakes happen and the employee had simply forgotten to put it in the bag. She then advised me to contact DoorDash for a credit, but when I asked for their number, she told me to look it up online. This was supposed to be a customer service experience, but it turned into a frustrating situation over a simple Coke. While everyone makes mistakes, how a company recovers from them is what truly defines the customer experience. In this case, it was a complete failure over something so small. Very disappointing. The restaurant was clean. There wasn't a line. The gentleman that made my sandwich was fabulous. I haven't had one made that good in a very long time. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
Damn sandwiches have gone through the roof , kinda wish they had more options and a better way to keep their veggies sanitary Service: Take out Meal type: Lunch Price per person: $20–30
