Mid Atlantic Seafood - Oxon Hill

Eating is pretty good. I get the same every time. The staff is always nice to me. Love the Tofu and the filled fish.

When I first visited the restaurant, I ordered a combination of fish and oysters and specifically requested the fish to be grilled. The meal was fantastic. However, when I returned two days later and ordered the same dish, I noticed that the fish was fried. When I pointed this out, the staff member informed me that the combo typically comes fried. I reminded her that I had ordered it grilled just two days earlier, and I asked her why she hadn’t mentioned the change when I placed my order. An older man nearby attempted to clarify, but I pressed on, asking why she hadn't addressed it when I ordered the grilled fish. She insisted that I hadn't specified that I wanted it grilled. I understand that working with the public can be challenging, and I try to be reasonable. If she had just acknowledged my order for the grilled fish dinner and the side of oysters, that would have settled the matter. I still plan to eat there again, but this experience has definitely left a sour impression. I really dislike dishonesty.

The food was excellent, and the staff was friendly and kept us informed about which items were out of stock. The wait time was a bit longer than expected, but being a Sunday, that was understandable. My only issue was that some of the baked chicken pieces were a bit dry, but overall, the quality was quite good. The smoothie we ordered was exceptional as well.

The food here is fantastic and reasonably priced—a perfect combination! I enjoyed the fish and oysters, accompanied by a wide selection of hot sides. The dining area feels safe and secure, and I didn't have to wait long for my meal, even though I noticed some patrons who had ordered earlier. This place is a great option and should definitely be on your must-visit list when you're in National Harbor.
