Hafjell Hotell - Oyer

Good value option at the base of the mountain. Rooms were good for the rate, Breakfast a little basic, easy to get to and get to Hafjell and Kvitfjell. Bit far from Restaurants etc. Shame they dont have a Sauna. If i went to Hafjell again id consider staing near Favn or in Lillehammer.

Really enjoyed the pool table, and the breakfast buffet is nice. Dinner is not bad either.

We stayed here two separate nights on our round trip journey from Moss to Kristiansund. Family room, 2 kids and 2 adults. Room size and comfort is ok. The two single beds are not optimal as they easily slip apart creating a gap. Wish we had gone for a propper double bed. There are 2 aspects thats makes us very happy. The electric car charging facility and access to the amazing indoor playground. Trust me if you have kids stuck in a car all day driving, you will love watching them play and laugh here. Open and free for guests between 18.00 to 21.00. Two things we dont love about the hotel. 1 is that since its quiet old, it is very badly sound isolated between the floors. Having kids running upstairs after 9pm did drive me to call the reception to ask for help. 2. Is the wifi speed... reaaally slow. To smooth that out, the people who work here are very nice and the breakfast is deliscious : We will be back for sure :

Stayed here last week- 2 adults 2 children. Pro: 1)Staffs were service oriented especially reception. 2)Indoor complimentary play area for children to burn off excess energy from the candies. (Open from 18:00 to 21:00) and a free ice cream for children during the stay. 3)Great location cos just next door -Spar and shops and restaurants to choose from. And more shops down the road- coop extra and kiwi. And the mini theme park lillieputthammer just next door very convenient for families with small children. 4)Pretty good breakfast- see pic. 5)Nice lounge area with coffee/tea facility (see pics) and TV. 6) The room we stayed in a junior suite was very sound proofed which was great! We could just sleep thru the night without noises from other rooms or corridor. To improve on 1) The room could seriouly need to be upgraded ...the carpet was so dirty. They could just take the carpet away totally as it would be easier to clean. (Bring your own slippers to wear inside) we felt some insects were biting us on the bed and on the sofa (sofa could hv changed cos it's very dirty) my partner had 2 bites on his arm the 1st night from something in the bed. 2) Housekeeping could have done a better job to at least vacumn away lotsa hair on the bathroom floor and at least make the beds better. 3) tv selection in the room could have been more choices. 4) Restaurant could hv more seats. 5) The kitchen gave very dry beef (overcooked) both times we ordered an overcooked burger patty for my children. I supposed they cooked way b4 that and just kept it warm just plate it when the order comes in. I suppose cos its so busy that the kitchen staffs could not cater to everyone but still I find could be improved.

We stopped for dinner and it is really recommended. I had the Caesar salad and my fellow traveler had the burger. The quality of the ingredients was excellent and the food tasted good. We received fast and good service. The surroundings inside were modern and delicate. Service: 4 Location: 4
