If your vegan, vegetarian or gluten free this place is for you. They can accommodate. The tastes and flavors I would have never expected, but it is an utmost must! You also can dress comfy and comfortable. You don't need to be dressy. It is a bit pricey, but the food and drinks are worth it. I'll definitely be going back to experience lunch. The menus will be tried on each item.
Wow. When you first start walking through the parking lot you start to get a sense of how cool this place is. The parking lot is neat. The landscaping is very well done. (Go in the evening when the lights are on) You walk in the entrance and make your way through the gift shop and start to see how well done the construction is inside so cool. My wife and I were seated next to the glass, and could see the river outside and the super sweet patio outside (it was too cold to eat out there). If the weather is nice, I?d strongly recommend that you eat outside. A pretty tidy menu, not tons of choices, but quite a few varied options. It?s not a cheap date, but the service and food quality even it out. Our waitress was great, staying on top of refills and checking on us periodically. My wife had the shrimp and grits and enjoyed it very much. I ordered the catfish and was surprised at how mild the fish was my wife even accepted the bite I offered and said she enjoyed it. She also liked my slaw. The salt and vinegar potatoes are pretty good, but I couldn?t eat all of them (got to be too much). We finished with the peanut butter tart, with the toffee sesame drizzle. Wow. Just wow. They?re still working through their long term plans and have lots of other things coming at this former mill so I?m sure they?ll only get more popular. I?m very happy to return next time we?re in the area.
Food is delicious, atmosphere is great, and people are friendly. Go here for brunch with the ladies, a date, fun with the family, or just by yourself to sit and watch the water while you eat. There is shuffleboard and a gift shop if you have a long wait. We ordered the Mill burger for our entree. There are 3 types of meat on it. It was flavorful and juicy. I was pleased. The burger came with fries. They were large fries, but not steak fries. The honey mustard was a little too sweet for me. I like it tangy with some kick. We also ordered the risotto fritters-they were delicious with pickled peppers. The green tomato cake was yummy, but also pretty. It is reminiscent of a denser carrot cake, but a pale green color with buttercream frosting. The peanut butter tart was very peanut buttery, and good, but too rich for one person to eat alone. Overall, we were happy and will come back. There are pictures of the Mill through the years on the walls also, which was cool history.
Had the most wonderful lunch date there on our way to Branson. The atmosphere and patio view was amazing! Danielle was our waitress sweet as ever and she had great recommendations. The food and cocktails were very good shrimp and grits and chicken sandwich was the best I?ve ever had ! Dessert was so yummy! Will be our go to place on our future travels ! Prices were reasonable absolutely 5 stars !
What an amazing place! Unique atmosphere in such an awesome, well preserved, historical building. The farm-to-table food and cocktails were delicious. My family is from Alaska, so we know how seafood should taste but we usually never order it at restaurants after so many years of being disappointed. My Mom was ecstatic when the server asked her what temperature she would like it prepared to. And yes, it was perfectly cooked!
