Jackies Cafe - Paddington

This cafe is a great place to bring friends, with its attractive interior and unique concept of combining sushi and cafe offerings. Although the traditional ramen was my favorite, I appreciate the creative twist on dishes like breakfast ramen. The other menu items also look appealing, and I would definitely recommend meeting up with friends here if you're in the area.

We recently had breakfast at this cute café while catching up with a friend from Paddington. The food was absolutely stunning, both in presentation and taste. One of us tried the chia breakfast pudding while the other had the delicious toasty granola with berries and yogurt. We highly recommend the coconut and chia breakfast pudding with fresh and dried fruits, edible flowers, and almonds. The granola and avocado on toast with a poached egg are also highly recommended. If you have fur babies, we suggest sitting outside where you can brunch with them and feed them some treats and water.

Easily 5 stars! The staff was incredibly helpful and kind. The cafe has a beautiful setting with a blend of old sandstone and a more modern outdoor area. The food was delicious, with lattes at the perfect temperature and fantastic taste. I ordered Jackie's salad with shredded poached chicken and even though I typically eat a lot, I couldn't finish it because it was so good. My friend had the tuna poke bowl and absolutely loved it. The miso soup was flavorful and refreshing. Overall, I loved it!

Cafe by day, Japanese restaurant by night, Jackie’s Cafe has now become an all-day dining venue. Sashimi, carpaccio, nigiri, inside out rolls, a great selection of classic Japanese flavours get our dinner underway.  We asked to exclude kingfish from our mixed sashimi $21.60) and the restaurant kindly accommodated.

This restaurant may be a challenge to locate, but it's definitely worth remembering once you've dined there. The food is outstanding and draws in big crowds, so be sure to arrive early to secure a table quickly. The prices on the menu are a bit high, and keep in mind there is a 10% surcharge on Sundays. It's a fantastic spot for brunch and I highly recommend it.
