A cozy atmosphere 3 minutes away from the beach had a yummy breakfast here and came back for lunch later on for a farewell meal with my backpacking freind :
Amazing for vegan breakfast and other vegan optionsEco friendly packaging too!
It's definitely open not sure why it says temporarily closed. The food is usually quite good, in fact, I had been looking forward to the eggs Benedict long before my plane touched down in Krabi. The problem is the culture of lying and providing bad service that pervades the establishment, and really this part of the island. If you like your food overpriced with a side of bad attitude, and something a little off, this is your spot. After paying over 200 baht for my meal, I still had to go get more food to be completely full. Not only is it overpriced but the only breakfast sides are meat and bread, and orange marmalade, the most sharp tasting jam, is the only option for your bread. A bit crazy since it's strawberry and mango season in the North, and canning really is quite simple. It's also an extra twenty five baht for a side of marmalade, and the girl didn't tell me that, even though I'd already been charged for the bread, which I had assumed came with butter and jam. Silly me. They did remove it from the bill when I mentioned this. I ordered a side of hollandaise too and it was just whipped butter. The lemon sour cream that came with the omelet I ordered was also off, so I guess the evening cook has not mastered sauces. Ashame. I sent the hollandaise back and the cook just squeezed lime, not lemon juice into it, so I sent it back again. You may not fix a sauce by later adding ingredients into it. That is not how sauces work. They also send out their old bread with to go orders. It happened to me and to several other folks if you read the reviews. I'm not one to waste money so I took it back to them and asked for my money back. The woman then started lying about daily fresh bread and I had to keep quiet so I didn't lose my temper, the height of uncool in Thailand. Later when I went back, because I really wanted eggs, and usually theirs are quite good, one of the taller waitresses let me know that she was unhappy with the scowl on her face. I gave her a nice long kaaaa as I was leaving. Earlier when I ordered take away the same waitress lied when I asked if they had capers. They definitely do because they were in my omelet. These guys made me feel proud of how far my Thainess has come, because they definitely deserved a word with the manager. The prices on this menu are more expensive than in Bangkok. I think the good reviews are from farangs who come to Thailand and enjoy hanging out with other farangs as it's an extremely frustrating place to go and the aim is to get you to spend a minimum of 300 baht for a meal. Also when when you call, and I tried to several times, the phone immediately hangs up. Lastly, when I tried to get the eggs Benedict later on two separate occasions they were out of croissant I finally went to the trouble of finding reasonably priced and TASTY Thai food. Simply walk down the hill, turn right past all the hubbub and continue straight till you see the second ticket shop for long tail boats. Right next to it are an ice cream shop and a place that sells kapow, and curry noodles. The food here is very good and cost about 100 baht to be completely full. The ice cream is also delightful and starts at 40 baht.
