Indian Coffee House - Palakkad

Good place if you're interested in Indian foods. very bad ambiance and service. Got tea spilled all over me when i visited there for the first and last time.

Food was fine. We ordered Ghee roasts and Sambhar vada. Service could have been better.

Typical Indian coffee house. They maintain consistency in quality and quantity of food delivered. Cheap and affordable too.

Food , service, atmosphere, neatness, cost etc are moderate acceptable to me But I feel that the vehicle parking (even geared bikes) is quite dangerous. Yesterday I have a very bitter experience. After taking a tea I go down to underneath parking area to take my bike come out. The width of the path is hardly for a 3 wheeler the gradient or slope is very high there is a turn a floor grill which is not perpendicular to the direction of route. Altogether from the first sight itself, nobody will normally dare to park at this place. With my experience I was confident about come out. When I was getting in, the entrance was block free. But when I am coming up there was a bike at the top (entrance) on its side stand making obstruction on the left side of the path. As it was there, I found it is infringing my path; so sloweddown the speed (it was in first gear) of the bike. I have stopped to avoid a hit. But it was slipped down as my rear wheel was not came out gradient. It was slipping skidding back to the he'll !!.... even though I have applied the brakes wheels are still. I kept the handle suit as it needed; But It is skidding back with some acceleration. When the back wheel reached moving over the grill the vehicle experienced a wobbling lost my control fell down to right side. Fortunately I was armoured with helmet, hand glouse a very good pair of shoe, I have escaped from serious injuries. Near the wrist of right palm, as I supported during the fell, I have immense pain even today. I FEEL The following persons are seems to be responsible For such an incident. 1. The owner of the building 2. The engineer supervisor for designing constructing such an over gradient path. 3. Local authorities approved the plan construction. 4. The maintenance staff for not maintaining the path dust free dumping the waste materials in the path parking space. 5. The management of Indian Coffe House for not ensuring the condition of parking parking space really usable in a safe convenient manner. 6. The food courier boy who placed his bike without common sense, making hindrance to a vehicle coming out by negotiating a narrow, highly stopped passage. 7. Finally myself for my foolish dareness, thinking my huge riding experience of +2.5 lakh km, due to which I neglected all the above errors fell down . By GOD'S GRACE I have escaped. I request the ICH Management be sympathetic to their customers for necessary action atleast by providing a banning or a warning board immediately showing the condition to the vehicle owners to avoid such incidents .

Horrible restaurant. Dosa is without oil, chutney is like water mixed with green chilli. It is very hot. Coffee is poor taste. Nothing is tasty in this restaurant.
