I 've been wanting to stay at The Breakers ever since I watched the 2001 movie Heartbreakers starring Sigourney Weaver and Jennifer Love Hewitt. It 's about a mother and daughter who are con artists. They venture to Palm Beach and stay at The Breakers hotel in order to find Billionaire husbands. If you haven 't seen it, you definitely should! Anyway, after watching that movie when I was a kid, I dreamt of one day getting to stay at The Breakers. I booked a solo trip to Palm Beach a couple of months ago and I just wanted to enjoy the hotel and its amenities. For a whopping $1,500 a night (yes, you read that right! you get a basic room. Fortunately, I was upgraded to a beautiful ocean view room at no extra charge. The whole entire experience was first class! From the moment they greeted me at the door, until I left the hotel, I was treated so well. The front desk staff member named Jonathan C. provided me with excellent service and made checking in a breeze. My room was so breathtakingly beautiful! It 's hard to caputre in photos but the view of the ocean was stunning! The bathroom mirror even has a tv built into it! How cool! I couldn 't figure out how to work the mirror tv at first, but they quickly called Raul from their maintenance team and he was awesome! Friendly man too. I love the little details they do to pamper their guests. I got a box of artisan chocolates when I arrived. For their turn-down service at night they left me more chocolates on my bed. Their toiletries are top notch and smell so good. They even have a hair drying towel you can keep. The Breakers has a private beach front with staff taking care of you while you enjoy the beach. Their pool area is massive with several different pools and hot tubs to enjoy. They have different kinds of cabanas too and water bungalows you can reserve. I loved enjoying my cocktail in a coconut on the beach! I had dinner at the HMF restaurant which I highly recommend. They had the best tasting sushi. The only downside to my visit was that I was looking forward to brunch at The Circle which is their beautiful restaurant, but unfortunately it was booked for an event. It was a real bummer since I ventured all the way to Florida to try their brunch. I loved my stay, it was everything I hoped it would be. I stayed at the iconic Plaza Hotel in New York City a few weeks ago, and I think The Breakers even tops that by a landslide! The Breakers will be hard to beat in my book!
This luxury hotel located on the Atlantic Ocean in Palm Beach was founded in 1896. This iconic historic resort is an Italian Renaissance Revival style hotel with 534 rooms. Located on a half mile of private beach and beautifully landscaped grounds, also an on-site spa and two golf courses. They also feature ten restaurants, four pools, six hot tubs, poolside bungalows, playground, ten tennis courts, and private fitness. They are about four miles to West Palm Beach airport and less than a mile to Worth Avenue.
The absolute epitome of luxury. There is nothing to compare to the level of service, training of staff, and attention to detail.
Christmas Dinner 2023 in The Ponce DeLeon Ballroom . Our family tradition recently for the past 6 years! We had our Parents 50 Wedding Anniversary on Christmas Day many many years ago and on and off we have celebrated Christmas Day at The Breakers! Spectacular Christmas Celebration! The ambiance, decor and atmosphere! The reservation process is efficient and easy. The service from the valet to the Host is always warm and welcoming. Exemplary service from all assisting in our experience. The Buffet was beautiful. The music added to the experience. Just wish they would actually put a dance floor down. For $375. per person you want to be able to dance safely and not on a rug. I have to say everything was very good but every year the price goes up but the buffet options get smaller or condensed. Must have a new F&B Director! We definitely missed a few options... the large display of breads, rolls and cheese, a large array of grilled vegetables and other dishes they didn't serve this year. After dinner we always go to HMF for after dinner drinks and we love the Chocolate Martini! No matter what, we enjoyed all we had! It is truly more about the overall experience which is 5 Star! We will continue to attend as our family tradition allows.. I highly recommend!
Disclaimer: I did not stay over night at the resort, I just visited and had drinks at the bar inside. The service was great. Security checks you in at the front. It's an absolutely gorgeous property; inside and out. It's definitely worth stopping and checking out if you are in Palm Beach. However, I would personally never pay $1800/night to stay here. I think the cost is not worth the value. Pros: beautiful, exclusive, great staff Cons: nightly cost
