Írjon visszajelzéstI am a huge fan of hot dogs(grew up in NYC) and stopped in here based on a recommendation. I was not disappointed. I had $2 sausage and peppers and the Coney, and Coney Island dog and DAMN it was so worth it. They have $2 coneys for happy hour as well. This plate ran me like $10.50 and worth every bite.
We tried them due to recommendation from a customer of theirs. The restaurant was clean and comfortable. There is seating inside and out. We were seated promptly and drink order was taken. They have daily specials which when reading it we found they have Frisch's Big Boy Burger tater sauce. That was something we haven't seen any where else in the area. They let us try a sample of the chili and the seasoned ground beef and we decided to have a Special Coney Dog that had both on it. It doesn't come with shredded cheese but can be added for 50 cent. The order of chili cheese fries is plenty for 2 to share. The Coney Dog tasted great as well as the chili cheese fries. Overall we were glad we tried it and want to return to try their version of a Big Boy Burger. The menu on Goggle maps link is not the full menu. I posted images of the menu and you'll find it on their website or Facebook page.
This place took me back home. Loved all the Michigan stuff on the walls. Will be stopping here everytime I visit the Tampa area. Friendly staff as well! I learned what a Flint style coney was, but i will always eat them Detroit style. Yummy!
You can't get much closer to the real thing than this for Flint style Coney island dogs! I would say it's closest to Angelo's. Just a tad different than Starlight and I can't say why exactly. Regardless, it's a taste of home! In ten or so visits, all I've had is the Coney's and fries but I'm sure the rest is good too!
Nice to find a place that reminds me of home. A little Lemon Rice Soup, a couple of Detroit Coneys, some fries and a Vernor’s did the trick. Thank you for the trip down memory lane!
