Jwb Grill - Palm Springs

I think who ever manages that place is not doing a good job. Went there for dinner with reservations and we had to wait 30 mins and they were seating people that had no reservations. We tried again for breakfast and it took them 40 min to seat us and one they gave us a table we waited another 20 mins without anyone coming to take our drink orders. We saw other people getting seated and were getting their orders taken. We got up and left. Sorry but never coming back here

I was skeptical about the bad ratings, as the times we have been in there, the food has been great and the service has been very good. We have had the appetizers and entrees.

Having spent many years traveling in Europe I am quite accustomed to dining in hotel restaurants. This one in Palm Springs is excellent. Great food, nice selection, well prepared and presented, and wonderful staff throughout, from host/hostess stand, to servers, runners, kitchen crew, and bartenders. Put aside possible qualms about “hotel restaurants” and give it a try. I eat here at least once in every trip. Yes there are many good restaurants in PS but I like the food, staff and setting especially in good weather outside.

Made reservations. We were seated right next to the door. We requested a table change and the answer was NO even though the entire dining room was EMPTY except for us and stayed that way for almost 40 minutes. We were informed by our server that they had no fish (2 of their main entrees) and 1 of appetizers was unavailable. Wait staff was good- food just ok for the price.

After waiting an hour for our food I received a burnt chicken sandwich on burnt toast. Received no refund/ waitress did nothing to make it right. I myself have worked at a restaurant so i understand when it’s busy as the waitress said as an excuse for the food taking so long but it wasn’t. There were two tables ahead of us. Very disappointed with this place I do not recommend.
