Another fantastic night at The Mess Deck. Had just popped in for 1 on my way home ... 5 hours later and now 4am I was still there. Great bar, lovely owners Lisa and Dave. They have the football for those that like (last night was the boxing), great music, a pool table, darts and always a friendly face in there. Had the most fun .... Thanks Lisa and Dave

Not doing food yet but lovely friendly bar with pool table, darts and sport on TV. Dave and Lisa the owners are lovely and friendly and staff lovely too. Really welcoming bar, friendly atmosphere and a great bar to meeting place. Drinks reasonable and would highly recommend this bar

My wife, son and myself stayed in Belvedere hotel, and found out about the mess deck before going. it is only a 10 minute walk from hotel (out back gate , turn right , keep going down hill, its on the left) . Great place to meet other guests have a decent drink at decent prices and watch some sport. They show all sport at all times (we watched the Liverpool games, (and won both). If your looking for a great place with welcoming owners and sport , THIS IS THE PLACE.
